The ongoing online classes are going fine. Due to the classes being taken online it is a bit a tough compare to conventional classroom teaching to understand the concepts which are being taught to us but I must say the teachers are doing their best to make us understand the subjects and helping us heavily in this process of learning.

Online Classes is a very good move done by the Institute during the Pandemic period. Where Physical/Offline Classes are restricted due to the outbreak over the whole world, it is a kind of relief for all the students and teachers to somehow interact gain knowledge. Over the course of 10-12 Months, the institute has conducted non-stop online classes for our betterment. But NET CONNECTION ISSUES is a major reason. And I, being a Media & Journalism Student, strongly believe that Physical Classes and Practical Classes are required for the enhancement

Online Classes are fine but at the same time Internet connection lagging is disrupting the Classes. 


•Physical present of Teacher is more effective than Online Classes because it's helpful for me to communicate with teachers more clearly and help me to clear the doubt on topics more effectively. 


•and most importantly I want to highlight a point which is about Practical Classes. I think Practical Classes are equally important for us, online classes are only provide us theoretical knowledge. Without Practical Classes it will be difficult for me to build career.

Online classes are an innovative way to keep the learning going on even during lock down. The online classes have been going well. Keeping the circumstances in mind, professors are really cooperative. Apart from technical issues, the college has been very helpful. Class timings are also being kept flexible. E-learning is very effective in this hard situation. It makes information easy to absorb and grasp. 


I would like the online classes to continue until the

pandemic situation is stable.

I am Riya Shankar Biswas from M.A, 3rd Sem, writing this e-mail to provide my feedback regarding the online classes as asked by the authority. 


I whole heartedly appreciate the college authority and the teachers for the efforts made by them throughout the pandemic. It has been a whole new experience and our teachers gave their all to keep up with our studies. 


However, some minor problems were there as well like network issues and our phones getting over-headted made it a bit risky. But depending on the situation it's been a great initiative taken by the college as it has helped me a lot.

It's a bit risky, i cannot on my video camera, because it’s not working properly.  But depending on the situation it's been a great initiative taken by the college as it has helped me a lot.

We have been taking online classes for almost six months now and it's a very pleasant experience for us, as the admin departments of our college have

figured out everything very systematically. Unlike the other colleges which used to take class for almost 8 to 9 hours continuously our college made that process very smooth and systematic by providing just one class at a time so that we students can study the whole course effectively and efficiently.


Photography, videography, video editing classes were not provided as promised so the the whole learning experience was only just theory part nothing of practical but we can't even complain because of the whole covid-19 situation.

I have been attending the online classes since its inception. I have attended most of the classes and still continuing. It has been pleasant experience till now. The teacher's are very cooperative and are trying their best to teach us the theory part as we are missing the practice portion due to the COVID pandemic. 


Hope to resume the college soon.

STEPS TAKEN BY THE INSTITUTE AUTHORTY FOR THE STUDENTS TO FOLLOW
THE LESSONS PROPERLY

A) Instruction to the faculty members to repeat the lecture till the students could follow the topic in an easier language along with requisite notes.
B) The Institute is sending mails to the students with appropriate notes for understanding the topics as per syllabus.
C) The Course-Coordinator & Course Counselor are in touch with the students or responding to them on the queries to sort out the ambiguity.
D) Organizing offline practical classes of the students, batch wise, with NOC from the guardians in the sanitized studio and class-room environment.
